BIO & PHILOSOPHY

Gina began her career as a graphic artist, drafting and assembling print publications before working as a magazine editor and subeditor in Australia and the UK, specialising in food and gardening titles. She also worked for several years as a reiki practitioner and teacher, and continues to explore the role energy plays in healing and life in general. Drawing inspiration from nature, beauty and light, she enjoys playing with the dance of energy in our world.
"Art has the ability to move and uplift us, excite and inspire us, and make us feel happy and peaceful. When someone engages with one of my paintings, I hope the intention I held while creating it leaves a positive impression. It's about awakening something joyful within, perhaps sparking the memory of a beautiful moment or offering a glimpse of something new and curious. For me, this very personal interaction is the final step in the creation of the painting – an unknown element that completes the work – and it comes in many forms, with endless exciting and often surprising possibilities."
Gina creates her art in a light-filled garden studio in Sydney, Australia.
